Very Dissatisfied

I had hopes for this meal, but none of my family liked it. Money down the drain.

disappointing

I had been looking forward to this. Definitely not steak tips as advertised, they were really small bits of beef rather than tips. Followed the directions - the pieces were chewy, had to spit out a couple of pieces.
Bought it at Costco on sale. I'm so glad I didn't pay full price for this.

Dog food Scraps

This was one of the worst premade products I have ever had. It’s so bad, that this is the first review about any food item that I’ve ever written.

1/4th of the package weight is the sauce. So the 2 lb package for $18 (hawaii price) is actually more like $11 a lbs instead of $9 a lb.

That would be fine if the meat wasn’t absolute gristle. Their “sous vide” method gives it look like dogfood and a texture something like beef jerky that was boiled, dried again, and steamed. It’s not even seasoned.

Sous vide is for even cooking of usually larger things… not thin scraps of meat. This “sous vide” is not a culinary offering as much as it is a time and cost saving measure.

Why would they cook and season it properly and then Vacuum seal it, when you just can boil the unseasoned meat and pack the sauce on the side

For $11 per lb, go buy strip streak and cut it yourself.

This is a company taking scraps of an already cheap cut and ripping off its customers. Absolute garbage and they should be embarrassed.

I don’t even want anything from them… I just feel like people need to know how much this company doesn’t care about you.

Not great

Recently had the Hawaiian chicken and it was super good so decided to try this flavor. Bought both packages at Costco so makes meal prep all week easy since it’s bigger packages. This Korean BBQ Beef missed the mark. Great flavor! Usually that’s the issue. Not with this. The steak is dense (hard to even separate the block, had to hand tear as plastic silverware kept bending), stringy, grisly, and not at all tender. This would be really good with a different cut of meat that is more tender as the flavor is really good!

Yeeeeaaaa………….No

I was looking for something to pair with my eggs and I know Korean style beef is usually tender, so I picked this up today just for the meat to be very chewy and I came across pieces of fat. I know that could be normal with meat sometimes , but it says it was sous vide? So that plus the fat I don’t know but maybe that was just my experience

Beef Scraps

My meat looked like a clump of leftover scraps. No solid "slices" of beef. Not one solid strip larger than 1/3 of an inch. The beef in here was one small step above ground beef. Won't ever get again. Disgusting.

Absolutely Not

I don't know where to start: The false advertising of 32 ounces of meat, or the grey meat being vacuum sealed into a puck instead of strips - perhaps the vaguely basic thickened soy sauce and sweetener? Even on sale at CostCo for $15 I would have been better off buying a steak and doing it myself, the only thing keeping me from returning it is I need something to eat for a quick lunch throughout the week.

Delicious and Diabetic-Friendly

Just tried this one for the first time. My super-picky, diabetic husband kept RAVING about it! Quick to prepare, and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be looking for more flavors!

Wow

Thank you so much for this delicious beef dish! We eat this once or twice a month when I just can't spend time cooking. I do wish there was a bit more sauce as I like to add veggies and put it over rice. It is perfect for the 2 of us. Luckily I don't eat much. Never any left overs. We have tried other Kevin's meals they have all been great. I enjoy when the shop brings in another flavor.

Bulgogi but

I have wanted to try this brand for a long time. Perhaps now that Mars owns them (2023 aquisition) they have a better and broader placement in grocery stores. I bought the Korean BBQ beef because there aren't many local places to get this. I think it was over sous vide - some of the beef was kind of mushy. Some of the beef was tough and/or stringy. Not all of it but enough I probably wouldn't try this meal again. I did purchase their Turkey, gravy, cranberry meal so we'll see how that fares. I think this is a great idea, an alternative to the delivery fresh meals at a better price with less waste.
